More than 70 of AMAR’s Dubai supporters braved a rare downpour for an evening at the luxurious Villa 515 in Jumeriah to celebrate and raise awareness of the Foundation’s work.
Senior representatives from international companies such as Shell Iraq, Weir Group and Control Risks attended the event.
There were speeches by AMAR’s Chairman, Baroness Nicholson of Winterbourne and the UK’s Ambassador to Iraq, Mr Frank Baker OBE.
The evening was generously sponsored by one of AMAR’s longstanding supporters, Olive Group. Managing Director, Mr Martin Rudd, gave a speech which outlined their recently established three-year partnership with AMAR in Iraq.
