Imran Ahmed doesn’t like heights, but this didn’t stop our amazing supporter embarking on a terrifying series of adrenaline challenges this August – all in aid of AMAR’s work in Iraq. Leaping from a plane 15,000 feet from the ground in a tandem skydive, and falling 300 feet in a hair-raising bungee jump, Imran tested his nerves and pushed himself to the limit to raise over $600 for our health and education projects.
Imran’s fundraising page is still open and accepting donations – CLICK HERE to check it out today and support his incredible efforts!
Imran’s not the only supporter to have taken on a challenge for AMAR. Earlier this summer, eight others took on the British 10K London Run. Their dedication and training saw them get through the race in roughly an hour, and together, they raised over $1,800 – all of which will go towards our work helping vulnerable Iraqi families to rebuild their lives.
