On Friday February 8 AMAR U.S. raised over $1,000 from the sale of jewelery, paintings, sculptures and other artwork by renowned Middle Eastern artists to benefit AMAR’s programs in Iraq.

Generously hosted by the Embassy of Iraq at the Iraqi Cultural Center in Washington DC, and supported by Kurdish Humanr Rights Watch (KHRW), the Exhibition showcased paintings depicting Iraqi life and Arabic calligraphy. Guests were also treated to authentic Iraqi food prepared by members of AMAR’s Washington fundraising committee.
